Patriots and Paws Joins 10 Other Organizations with the Goal of Collectively Raising $115,000 to Benefit Local Veterans and Military Families

Orange, Calif., 06-06-2018 —Patriots and Paws will partner with the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) as they come together on June 14 to host Stand and Salute, a Giving Day to honor OC veterans and military families.

Stand and Salute is a 24-hour online effort to raise critical funds for 11 local organizations. Together, they aim to raise $115,000 for their shared vision and ambitious fundraising goals for a common purpose.

Stand & Salute is part of a bold initiative by OCCF to boost the capacity of local nonprofits through a series of Collaborative Giving Days over the coming year.

Nonprofits with shared missions are invited to come together to boost collective giving for their causes. OCCF will power the Stand & Salute campaign by providing seed funding to support the marketing assets, campaign resources, and collaborative partnerships.

The 11 organizations participating include 211 Orange County, Bob Hope USO, Easter Seals, Honoring Our Fallen, Lestonnac Free Clinic, Patriots and Paws, Strength in Support, Strong Families Strong Children, Support the Enlisted Project (STEP), Veterans Legal Institute and Zero8hundred.

You’re invited to join these organizations for a Stand & Salute Open House on June 14, from 4:30 – 7:30 pmat 1631 Sunflower Ave Suite C-34 in Santa Ana. Meet organizations’ leadership, board members, donors and clients as they work together to reach their $115,000 fundraising goal.

Patriots and Paws providing practical home furnishing for our Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists all at no cost and uniting them with a rescued animal so it can be trained to become a service animal.  Already in 2018 we have helped over 450 families and put in over 6000 volunteer hours.
